PHP / Laravel / WordPress Fixes, Speed and Modernization

Fixes traced to the root cause and verified in production; migrating legacy PHP to Laravel.

A checkout step that breaks in production, a slow admin panel, or a WordPress install untouched for years. We measure first, then fix; no code changes based on guesses.

When we are called

  • A recurring error or white screen in production
  • Page load times that are no longer acceptable
  • An app stuck on an old PHP version that can no longer be updated
  • Moving off WordPress onto a custom application
  • An inherited project where nobody knows what still works

Approach

  1. Error logs, server logs and slow queries are collected.
  2. The issue is reproduced and the root cause is reported in writing.
  3. The fix is applied in small, reversible steps.
  4. The result is verified by measurement in production.

Speed and security

Caching, query tuning, image compression and CDN settings are applied with measurement. On the security side: headers, session management, form validation and a scan for known vulnerabilities. A backup is taken before every change.

Modernization

When moving a legacy PHP or WordPress install to Laravel, the existing URL structure and SEO value are preserved: addresses are mapped with 301 redirects, meta fields and content are migrated, and the sitemap is regenerated. After the move, old URLs are checked for breakage.

Handover

You receive the report, changed files and rollback steps. For urgent incidents, work can start the same day.

Frequently asked questions

We have an urgent bug. How fast can you start?

If the scope is clear, the same day. The first step is reproducing the issue and confirming the root cause; the fix timeline is stated in the proposal based on severity.

What do you review when taking over code?

Dependencies, PHP version, presence of tests, log quality, backups and deployment method. A short review produces a risk list and priority order.

Does moving from WordPress to Laravel hurt SEO?

Not if done properly. Old URLs are mapped to new ones with 301 redirects, meta fields are migrated and the sitemap is regenerated. A broken-link crawl follows the migration.

Do you do speed-only work?

Yes. The Standard package includes a performance audit, caching, query tuning and security headers, reported with before/after measurements.

Are changes reversible?

A backup is taken before every change and steps are recorded. If something goes wrong, rollback takes minutes.
